How We Create
We believe that everything we do has an impact on the planet and on all the beings that it supports. With this in mind, Sanandi seeks to create a positive impact on the world by taking steps to consciously create as follows:
- Carefully choosing the processes and methods used — natural, free of chemicals and pesticides, and respectful of nature and its biodiversity.
- Ensuring that everyone that works at Sanandi — from the farm to the lab to the office — is fairly remunerated and treated with dignity and respect.
- Partnering with vendors that share our commitment to protect the environment, to participate in the common good, and to adhere to natural processes without the use of harmful chemicals.
- Working with communities through organic food programs for children, holistic educational courses for rural schools in music and health education, promoting organic and biodynamic agricultural principles in rural areas, and providing free health clinic services.
At Sanandi, our philosophy is based on a single premise: that Nature is alive. It is a sentient organism and therefore it feels. At its heart is Fertility, which is the most creative act in Nature and it has only one purpose: to nourish, sustain, and create balance in order to foster evolution.
The Biological agriculture we practice is based on cultivating a relationship of values and meaning with Nature. Cultivating means culture. Agri-Culture is for us the Art that feeds the web of life, closes the cycle of production and consumption, and finally helps maintain and promote Ecological Integrity.
